“I Wouldn’t Steal”, Pro Sharing Anti-Propaganda

I saw a pointer to this one minute video over on the Creative Commons blog. I love stories and discussions that unpack the different motivations behind both sharing and control. This video highlights the immense shift in norms, that the average person, at least in the currently upcoming generation, doesn’t see any moral dilemma with sharing. I’m guessing this has something to do with the success of creators who get that and don’t get hung up on file sharing and copying. If the expectation is that content should be easy to access and move around, there is a potential reward for open and free content creators who fulfill that.
