What an embarrassing gaffe. I have corrected it and thanks for point out my mistake.

I enjoyed the other NIN albums I have, With Teeth and Pretty Hate Machine. Some of the intervening singles that I caught through traditional channels seemed a little too "pop".

Having listened to only the first volume so far, what I can say is I was not expecting all instrumentals. I don't know if the other volumes are also instrumental only. Also, the tracks tend a bit more towards the atmospheric or ambient. This is unexpected based on my previous experience of NIN. However, the podcaster in me sees some very interesting potential for remix and re-use. I think many of these tracks would work well as bed music for regular programming or dramatic scoring for podcast fiction of all forms.

"... if you are an audio file." ?!

Surely that should be "audiophile". :-)

I wouldn't normally be so pedantic, but it was an amusing typo. I don't expect many mp3s or wavs are reading the blog!

I'm not too familiar with NIN, but will definitely give the free portion a listen and see if it's interesting enough to purchase the rest.
